# Identity verification events

> A user's KYC status changed.

Filter: `identity.*`. The alternative to polling `GET /api/v2/kyc`.

| [`identity.verification.updated`](/webhooks/identity-verification/identity-verification-updated) | The verification moved to a new status: `awaiting_documents`, `needs_information`, `requires_verification`, `pending`, `approved`, or `rejected`. |
