# setup_payment_method

> Save a payment method used ONLY to pay for flight bookings (the fare is charged to it via a hold at booking; no virtual card is created for flights).

Connect to `https://mcp.agentcard.sh/mcp` with the **user's connection token** (or a `buy_token` for org-owned accounts).

## What it does

Save a payment method used ONLY to pay for flight bookings (the fare is charged to it via a hold at booking; no virtual card is created for flights). It does NOT fund cards or the cash balance — cards are funded from the balance (see add\_funds). Returns a secure checkout URL the user must open to save their card details.

## Inputs

None.

## Returns

| `checkoutUrl` | string | Secure Stripe checkout URL the user must open to save their payment method. |
| `stripeSessionId` | string | Identifier of the Stripe Checkout session created for the setup. |
