# delete_preset

> Retire a saved preset name. Cards already issued keep their rules.

Connect to `https://mcp.agentcard.sh/mcp` with the **user's connection token** (or a `buy_token` for org-owned accounts).

## What it does

Retire a saved name. Cards already issued keep their rules; the name stops appearing in list\_presets and no longer works as `preset`. Built-in names are refused, because there is nothing to delete.

Over a connected app's own credential this returns `read_only`. The account owner deletes saved names from the CLI or the dashboard.
