# get_cardholder_payment_method_status

> Check whether a cardholder has a funding payment method on file.

Connect to `https://mcp.agentcard.sh/mcp` with your **organization credential** (`client_id` + `client_secret`, or the org access token).

**Behavior:** read-only.

## What it does

Check whether a cardholder has a funding payment method on file.

## Inputs

## Returns

| `message` *(required)* | string | Human-readable status. |
| `hasPaymentMethod` | boolean | Whether a default payment method exists. |
